Elizabeth Edwards passed away a couple of days ago. A woman who when faced with adversity and illness, held her head high and was an inspiration to those who knew her. A classy lady who taught us how to live with dignity and courage.
My condolences to her family, friends and colleagues.

I agree. I've always admired her courage and the way she dealt with her illness in relationship to her family. Like she said we all don't know how much time we have here. She gave her children "wings" and taught them how to go on without her. Quite a lady.

Elizabeth Edwards was, indeed, a classy, inspirational woman. I had a lot of respect for her and also admired the way she handled all the adversity...God Speed, Elizabeth. RIP :sigh:

I agree with all of you. She was a model of courage and fortitude and living each day of her life.
And...I remind those of you now fighting breast cancer that you should not think about her death with fear. Most of us do not die from Breast cancer and the odds get better every year.

Women, please remember to get a mamo every year. It is so important.
