after minimal investigation it seems there is not an effective way to stop getting the test kits.
I suppose one could just mark the package return to sender.
Maybe Medicare can be notified to not pay for unsolicited tests.
Any similar experiences? Suggestions?

The Medicare provider doesn't want you to stop getting the tests because they get paid for them. Good luck telling Medicare to stop paying a provider.

If you did not request them, YOU SHOULD CALL AND REPORT THE COMPANY TO MEDICARE. I DID.
This is what I learned (I was sent 2 shipments of 8 kits). Apparently my medicare number was hacked. Three companies have fraudulently used my number! Only two have sent me kits. They then apply to medicare and are paid!!! The only way Medicare knows of this illegal abuse of our taxes is to report the abuse and insist it stops!

This happens all the time. You can report it, but they won't do anything. It is a waste of time. They don't care. Medicare fraud is rampant and out of control. They get paid to spend taxpayer money, not to save it.

Medicare has zero credibility in stopping fraud. Until they implement a real, meaningful system to report fraud with feedback information, you are wasting your time to report fraud to Medicare.

Just got a package. It said it was the last one s to be sent out. It was part of congressional law passed a few years ago. Medicare just carrying out orders.

866-720-5721 is the fraud line where you can report this, but it takes perseverance. This is a huge fraud. We keep getting unwanted tests from different sources and Medicare IS paying for them. Save the name and address of the sender to give to the fraud line. Hopefully it will help.

Government is mass mailing due to expiration dates of kits. They notified me on last shipment that they will no longer be shipping them unless requested.

The problem is that the more calls they get, the more employees they can hire to answer the calls. I'll bet you a dollar that they spend more taxpayer money on administering the anti-fraud program than they save by stopping fraud. But, they won't show you the data.
The FTC still spends thousands on administering the DO-NOT-CALL list, which has been a total failure. Logically, they should cancel the program, but they won't.

I spoke to the fraud department three times and they said they would be investigate the company. Charges are still appearing as paid on my Medicare account. What a waste of taxpayer money.

They lied to you. Do you really think that Medicare doesn't know about the fraud? They know about it, but they don't care. The fraud phone reporting system is a joke. There is so much fraud in Medicare that they don't need a fraud reporting system. The system exists as a publicity measure to make people think they are fighting fraud.

They aren't free. Taxpayers pay for these.
