i went to johnny rockets in LSL the other day for lunch. i have not been there for a few years, now i remember why. the grill looked very dirty to me and the counter very worn .the mens room had a tile missing, the door to the sub kitchen had a piece missing. i think the place needs a make over.

We actually ate there 2 weeks ago on our lifestyle stay and gotta say it was the best grilled chicken sandwich I have had in years...I don't plan on eating in the bathroom so the tile isn't a big deal

I've only eaten breakfast there before my golf game. Nothing special. Just breakfast and coffee. Never had issues. At least their A/C issues were fixed.

We visited there (I'd say "ate" but things never got that far) in March. It was about 4:00 PM and the place was pretty much empty--odd, to say the least. There were about six customers there. My wife and I were shown to a table and then ignored. Two of the waitstaff were wrapping silverware at the counter. One of the other waitstaff appeared to be BS'ing with the cook behind the counter. The host was standing in a corner texting. We waited for a good fifteen minutes, then decided enough was enough and got up to leave. One of the waitstaff immediately grabbed a couple of menus a moved toward us but we left anyway, telling the waitperson that a fifteen-minute wait for service in an empty restaurant was totally unacceptable, and that we were going somewhere where our business was appreciated. She looked sort of shocked.

I just looked on the Life Kitchen App, they scored an 82 in their last health department inspection on 5/17/23, with 1 high priority, 4 intermediate, and 7 basic violations.

Just another sign of no or poor managers , whoever owns this place needs to stop in occasionally and look around to see it from a customers view..

You know I agree but the way the economy is it would be way to expensive to do anything. People aren’t eating out much because of all the shortage of help, or sandwiches aren’t right & food is just getting to expensive. Just to go to a McDonalds, Burger King it’s about as much anymore. It’s like going to a sit down restaurant & eating a 3 course meal.

We like their burgers. Staff is very friendly But usually go to WOB instead for good burgers cause they’re closer to us.

17 violations in May 17 2023 restaurant inspection. Most restaurants have some violations, it depends on the severity of them.

Ate breakfast there yesterday. Good meal, came out in 7 minutes. I didn't notice the place was filthy. If it was i wouldn't eat there.

We went there once a few years ago and won’t ever be going back. The only reason we went there was because it was the only place without a long wait. After eating there we knew why we didn’t have to wait.

Johnny Rockets was on the ropes until the Suleimans took it over. They totally cleaned house and made it a viable place to go again.That was the beginning of their restaurant growth in The Villages. A deserved reward for for sure.
Hopefully, someone will step up and repeat that feat.

If they had a living breathing Mgr might have staff that understands they are in bus to serve customers. Sad

Johnny Rockets is in a great location. But imagine the lease is more than average. Every place needs a little TLC after several years. No excuse for dirt or very poor management in a place serving food. Thankful for health inspectors.

It was our go to breakfast place when the Suiliman family owned it. It was also good for other meals. Ate there right after they sold and the service was terrible. Tried it again this March and won’t be back.
