When I came to the Villages, I took the turnpike exit 296 to CR-470W and entered the Villages via Meggison Rd. Is there an on-ramp to the turnpike going south if I go back the same way? If not, what is the easiest way to access the turnpike going back to the airport? I don't want to go all the way over to US-301.

There should be an exit from 470, simply back the way you came. I have seen it but I haven't taken it myself so hopefully someone will confirm.

Yes. At 470 and the Turnpike you can get on the turnpike going north or going south. And you can get off the turnpike going north and going south.

If you’re actually taking Meggison to 470, turn right out of The Villages onto 470. Then you’ll enter the freeway on the right and do a circle on-ramp to head south

If you’re taking Marsh Bend Trail to 470/Central Parkway, you’ll just follow it down until you see the on-ramp on the right.

I live in the middle of Brownwood and it is still faster to go to 301 because of all the traffic, circles and lower speed limits. It was very short sighted not to have an interchange on Warm Springs. It would have saved a tremendous amount of time and fuel. 301 has become very congested and dangerous at the turnpike exit.

Be cautious Because right After the Mickey Lee putying course there is a no trespassing construction zone sign which means the road of megassen is closed after that. if you get caught it is a criminal trespass, possible 6 months in jail and $500 fine however I know many people that travel it on a daily basis so if you break the law at least watch out for nails

The no trespassing sign is on the MMP - it is not on the roadway.

I live down here, and there is a ramp both ways.

Those no trespassing signs have been removed! The final asphalt paving has been completed!

It’s there. Now that’s Marsh Bend Trail is open , go down there. Follow the road left (470) , it will be there on your right. You just have to drive a bit.

At one time there was a proposed interchange on Warm Springs/CR 468. https://www.sumtercountyfl.gov/AgendaModule/AI948/CR%20468%20turnpike_948_1040.pdf

In 2017 The Villages developer put the kibosh on the interchange at 468/Warm Springs. Bradley Arnold said 'It was unnecessary...'
