VILLAGE’S NOTICE: Pinellas, Caroline, Charlotte, Lk. Deaton, Hillsborough, Dunedin, Gilchrist, Pine Hills, Etc (And communities in-between).
June 2023 - Storm 🌀 Season - Important:
Neighbors: Please note, that after several inspections on the Single Family / Villa homes, that we have found that the “ridge vents (Cobra Shingle Over Baffle Vents)” that were originally installed for the ridge-roofing ventilation system were made of “Sub-Par” construction materials; They have begun to deteriorate against the tropical weather here in Florida (See Below) and from the daily release of hot air from the attic space.
We were “not” the original installers of this product and were contacted by your neighbors as some have begun to see black plastic in yard and downspouts (If you need references to contact we are happy to provide); We conducted multiple inspections and found this to be true many months ago. A matter of fact.
We contacted TV’s Warranty Department, the original installer (Contractors), sent notarized letters, and found both to provide the same answer: Out of warranty (See Video on NextDoor).
• Note: You can utilize your own binoculars, or we will provide binoculars prior to inspection so you can view for yourself without feeling like it’s a scam, or you are not being told the truth.
• Note: Many properties now have water entry as the baffles are disintegrating and can’t protect against the wind and rain any longer (We simply are looking out for neighbors). We have replaced hundreds of ridges thus far; Many folks have no clue until it’s too late and interior mold / staining ensues. Sincere suggestion not to wait.
• Note: Skylight Roofing Villages / AP Services LLC is offering a flat cost (Only if replacement needed) for a complete upgraded ridge baffle replacement, better venting, widen and lengthen, matching shingle-over-vent.
• Before anything is done, we will take a video without touching baffles and will provide binoculars so you can see for yourself if so desired. Honest transparency is vital to our business ethic / policy and practice.
