I have a bunch of clothes (and even some makeup) I would like to donate, but I've searched online and haven't found a place to take them. Does anyone have any organization recommendations to donate in the Wildwood or Ocala area?

Thank you!

I hope you're not thinking of donating used makeup. If you are, please don't. It is unsanitary and there is no way to clean eyeliner, mascara, foundation, lipstick. If you want to buy brand new inexpensive makeup to give away, you'll probably want to look into battered womens' shelters. They won't give you the name or address for those, but you'd check with the local police department and they can refer you to a collection spot for them.

For clothing, St. Vincent dePaul Society has collection at St. Timothy's Church on Paige Place, near the Morse/El Camino Real roundabout.

I think they collect just one day a week, you'd have to check with them on that.

Goodwill and Salvation Army; but, Salvation Army is getting more "picky" about what they take. Goodwill is a drop off and you can just keep leaving bags in their drop off line.
