Doctor Newsum - Great Hand and Wrist Surgeon!!

After The Villages Doctors on Old Camp Road, said old people don't need surgery for a fractured wrist, I finally saw Dr Newsum ( a month after the fracture) and he did an absolutely tremendous job! Dr Newsum is with Orlando Hand Surgery Associates.

As I understand it, the doctors at Villages Health on Old Camp Road are only primary care doctors. Are you saying that they knew you had a broken wrist, but they refused to refer you to a specialist because of your age?

I just had a procedure done in Orlando and was going to look for a hand surgeon in their network....then I got a letter from United Heathcare that said they no longer will work with Orlando Health. That stinks!
