Happy 4th of July from us here at Pike's Electric!
During your fun activities through the holiday weekend, be sure to utilize GFI protected outlets. When functional, these will trip if the circuit comes into contact with water/moisture, preventing electrical current to continue traveling through equipment. This includes for your grilling, stereos, lighting, etc. A GFCI-protected circuit will save a life!

Just a side note: Did you know, any homes around 2018 or newer may have GFI breakers, versus GFI outlets with TEST/RESET buttons. The GFI breaker provides the GFI protection for the areas per code. This breaker can be turned OFF, then back to the ON position to reset it properly. Pressing the TEST button is not necessary.
