Definitely, the correct answer. I was one over par after 7 holes on Tequesta at Belle Glade this morning. I would keep going. Reminds me of the priest in Caddy Shack..He had his best round ever until just after his last putt on the 18th hole.

Stance too wide
His weight is on his back foot.
He's on his heels
He casted the club because the arc is bending backwards
It would be a blessing if God blasted him before he hits a rainbow slice into the pond!

You forgot to mention the ball is way too forward in his stance. So there’s half a chance he hits the ground 9 inches behind the ball and hits a straight chunk before it has a chance to slice

PSA. When you hear Thunder. Period.

start counting when you see the flash of the lightning. For every 5 seconds before you hear the thunder, the flash is a mile away.
That may seem far away (one mile), but the storm clouds could be wider than that, and the next flash might be the last one you never see (or hear). you decide.

Great photo! A similarly great photo was on the internet at volcanoes golf course on Hawaii with a plume of ash in the background right when kilueah started erupting!
Love the contrast of a golfer vs the power of mom nature!

When you hear thunder it’s time to go. I was in the clubhouse in Illinois when the lightning sirens blew and about 20 minutes later an ambulance pulled in and took a golfer to the hospital from a lightning strike that apparently was only a glancing blow. (What ever that is) I didn’t know him. He spent the night in the hospital and was ok as far as I know. Lightning in the area is no joke. TV has no sirens and we are the lightning capital so golfers beware. Only a fool stays on the course with lightning in the area.

With all the responses mentioning Caddie Shack it shows what a generational impact it had!

When is it time to go in?
The Villages Good Golf Guide recommends that you leave the golf course rather than continuing to play at your own risk. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration recommends,"When Thunder Roars, Go Indoors." There are apps for your cell phone that will call you when lightning is a threat to your safety and will make a second call when it is safe to resume outdoor activity. Since 2006 there have been 12 lightning fatalities on a golf course including two here in Florida. Lee Trevino is quoted as saying that if you hold up a one-iron even God can not hit it with a lightning strike. Ironically, he was struck by lightning in the 1975 Western Open resulting in a back injury that hampered his career. Retif Goosen had a close call with death when he was struck by lightning as a teenager. He was knocked to the ground, was not breathing, his clothes were either blow off or burned, shoes melted, watch melted to his body, and the shaft of his clubs melted. Fortunately, there was a doctor nearby that treated him starting with CPR and he recovered to have a fine PGA career. When Thunder Roars, Go Indoors!
