I also would like a local referral - I just got back from Ocala this morning - I dropped off a pair of pants than needed to be shortened at Li’s - excellent quality and service - I’ve used them quite a bit since moving here - but would like something closer - I tried using the dry cleaner in Wildwood for alterations, but there is no place to try on your items, and they simply sublet their alterations work anyway, so you have to tell them what you want altered and give them the measurements.

Can't believe this hasn't received any recommendations. Also looking for someone.

Yes, but a recommendation is sometimes a lot better than fake positive reviews.

In South Florida Bealls offered hemming pants for a nominal charge I don't know about the Bealls Outlets

When looking for "domestic" type skills, a good resource is not Google or Yelp, but Next Door. I find the Next Door site infuriating in some ways but have been able to glean some good resources for various trades. I've done my own sewing and alterations over the years, but have compiled a list, just in case, of recommended professionals on Next Door. I think they live either in or near The Villages:

Elaine Haasz 330-571-2771
Pat Michalski 937-515-2940
Debra Luty 352-753-4186
