Beach Hotels Near Pictona

I am considering spending a few days at the pro pickleball tournament that will be held at Pictona (very close to Daytona Beach), and thought maybe DW and I would spend a couple of nights at one of the nearby beaches.

Any recommendations for which beaches are nicest for old quiet folks, and also for hotels would be appreciated.

Pictona is awesome!

New Smyrna Beach is quiet and more laid back.

The Riverview Hotel is special, has a B&B feel.
