New Designer Home Purchase in Pennecamp

My wife, Floss, and I just returned from a great stay at TV. I'm truly thankful for all of the post I've read as well as those who took the time to respond to my questions.

During our Life Style Stay, we looked at over 25 pre-owned and new homes and we finally picked our new dream Designer Home in Pennecamp. We close in early January and can't wait to return.

During our five day stay, we were thouroughly impressed with the genuine
friendliness of the Villagers we met. Also, a sincere thank you to the The Talk of Villages forum. We found found a wealth of information that allowed us to maximize our stay in TV.

We knew after the first day that we found our place and it was the right place. We can't wait to begin the next journey of our lives in TV.

Congrats! TV may have some flaws (not many, fortunately) but the one thing you can't beat are the wonderful people here. It is the one thing I've found to be consistent and what makes TV so very, very special.

Don't forget to join us on the third Friday of the month at Crispers (3:00-5:00 pm).

The hubs & I can't wait to sell our home and finally become a full-timer - waiting to put house on the market early Spring....then hopefully will be doing the search ourselves. Dan - Where in Pennecamp? My wife and I just closed on our home on Eldridge Loop on the 13th.

The house we purchased is on Gasparilla Place. It's a cul-de-sac off Triggerfish Run and adjacent to Bonita Pass Golf Course.

Welcome! But I believe Gasparilla is in Buttonwood not Pennecamp. I have other friends who live on Gasparilla and their rep. had told them it was Pennecamp, but they found out it is Buttonwood. Is it the 2nd road on the right from Buttonwood Run?

Gasparilla Place is directly across the street from me. The back of my Iris faces the corner of Sherwood's corner home--the one with the nice palm tree. Also the golden retriever Maggie is on that block.

I think Gasparilla is in Buttonwood. I have a friend who lives there. Halfway up Triggerfish it changes from Pennecamp to Buttonwood. Since neither of us have signs at the beginning of our Villages, one can never tell they are here.:rant-rave:

VJ is correct. Gasparilla is in Buttonwood. I believe the cutoff is Abbey Way. Any street before that is Pennecamp.

My wife and I are flying down to TV from Ma.on sunday hopefully to buy a pre-owned in Poinciana that we have been looking at on the internet hopefully it will be still for sale and it is as nice as it all looks on our computer screen..We were at TV in October and loved what we experenced in the Life Style.TV here we come.

Thanks to those of you who participate on this forum, once again I learned something new. Our TV sales rep responded today that we are in Buttonwood and not, as he thought, in Pennecamp. No big deal. In my mind, I've now owned property in both Pennecamp and Buttonwood;)

We are looking forward to meeting our new neighbors. We close on 1/11 by mail, but I expect to be in TV from 1/11 to 1/23 trying to get things ready. My wife and I will be back in February. My wife will be retiring next summer and then the two of us will look forward to spending time in our home in TV.
