We're moving my mother-in-law from her villa to independent living. We would appreciate moving boxes if anyone has some available. Thanks.

if you come down to The Village of Newell or Lake Denham, the newest of The Villages, there are lots of cardboard boxes on the curb of the driveway from people moving in the new houses. Sundays evenings, Monday mornings or Wednesday evenings or Thursday mornings are good as that's our garbage pick Mon and Thurs.

Lowe's sells moving boxes. Three sizes, two grades (regular and heavy duty). The heavy duty ones come with built-in handles that are quite convenient. Not too expensive either: as I recall three years ago a medium regular box cost less than $1, with the heavy duty ones a bit more. But they're good quality, convenient and reusable.

You can get them from Uhaul fairly reasonably.
