The link below is to an engineers map for the TV area south of 466A and was filed with the County in Feb 2009. It is pretty detailed as it shows proposed streets, tunnels, exec and championship golf course layouts along with recreation centers.
Unfortunately the file opens in the wrong position and needs to be rotated 90 degrees clockwise, which I do not know how to do unless you save to your computer as a pdf file. You can easily navigate the map as it is to get a good idea of the future plans for south of 466A
Sorry but I had to delete the link as it turns out I may need permission to share it here.

Sorry but Tony suggested that I check further about publishing this map which lead to me finding out that I needed to get permission from The Villages in order to do that. Hence I deleted the file to avoid any problems for TOTV.

went to the VHA new residents meeting last night - we were told there are now about 82,000 residents with build out north of 466A expected sometime later this year. Would think they will be starting one or two rec centers and pools south of 466A very soon, as they build the amenities before they start building the houses.

The overview map that is available free at the sales centers now shows the main streets, golf cart trails, tunnels, golf courses and residential areas south of 466A in more detail than the previous version (which showed only the extension of Buena Vista and the Brownwood schematic). It's the color map that also shows the stores in the town centers.

or, at least, some clues for a google search. So far, I haven't been able to find such a map on the Internet.
Is it a Sumter County site? Is it the site for an engineering/planning firm?
We have heard rumors that The Villages will finally build another clay court tennis facility and it will be located south of 466A. Traditionally, these have been co-located with country clubs (e.g. Lopez and Glenview).
Bonifay is the champ golf course being built now. Has anyone seen the specs for the country club associated with it? If the tennis isn't part of Bonifay, then it will be at least another 2-3 years before the next country club is built (based on past history).

I'm not sure what the original link was but the following link is from the county web site and as such is a public record. Go to around page 18 to see maps of the new sections. Not a lot of detail, but does show major roads as well as golf course locations.

spk7951 mentioned in another thread ("Help posting a PDF file") that he acquired a paper copy of the plan and scanned it. So there is no web site for hit. He did put it online and then removed it as stated above in this thread.
Some of the plan is starting to show up on:
http://sumtergis.com/gis/
Look just southwest of the intersection of Morse and 466A and you will see an initial subdivision laid out there.
I suppose some of the information filed with the county can be found through the permitting system at:
https://etrakit.sumtercountyfl.gov/
I looked around but couldn't find anything there not knowing what to look for. I have seen building permits done en masse for various villages or sections thereof in prior searches.
I'm sure the county would show your this stuff in person in Bushnell, and perhaps copy it for you for a fee. But not online. I suspect what spk7951 has on paper would be considered proprietary by the developer and/or engineering firm.
You are correct in that I have a paper copy of the map, which I received from someone who had gotten it from the county offices in Bushnell. My intention was to share this with the TOTV membership but when I learned yesterday that certain folks thought I needed their written permission to do so, I opted to remove the posting.
While my opinion defers from that I am not interested in getting into a tug of war, so to speak, for myself or Tony and his partners.

That is the new championship golf course, Bonifay.

Are you talking about the $5 map?

No, it's free -- it's a color map that shows all of TV on one side and close-up maps of the town squares, with lists of stores and restaurants, on the other side. It does not show all of the streets -- just the main ones -- but it also shows cart paths, recreation centers, country clubs, etc. -- great for getting oriented or finding your way around. Both Sales Centers have them -- just ask for the free overview map.

The public tax assessor website http://www.sumterpa.com/GIS/Search_F.asp
now has the first phase of TV development south of 466a with the streets, etc.
