Definitely call others. I used a guy last year who was $70 for the first hour and $30 an hour after that.

For that sort of hourly rate you might as well hire a professional.

Be careful! I hired a recommended handyman who could do none of the jobs I had around the house. Including fixing a loose drawer in the fridge. He tried. No way. He left. I fixed the drawer myself.

A job like that should have a fixed price, not an hourly rate. A professional door installer can do it very quickly, but an inexperienced handyman may take all day.
