It's a drinking community with a golf cart problem.

Interesting but almost all of the people we have met here do not drink at all or if they do very little.

39% of the Villagers are millionaires. I read it online so it must be true. I asked my wife if she was one of them, she said no.

So you've never been to the squares, or City Fire? Even when we go to the Farmers market on Saturdays at Brownwood almost every table people are drinking a mimosas, bloody marys or beer at 11am. The lineup for drinks at Edna's at 4pm on every weekday is quite astounding. Almost every social event that I've joined in TV, alcohol was widely consumed. Nothing wrong with that to me as I'm one of the people doing the same.

Perhaps you could expand your social circle. :pepper2:

39% of the Villagers are millionaires. I read it online so it must be true. I asked my wife if she was one of them, she said no. I read that online too. The article I read stated 39% of Villagers are millionaires, 45% are swingers, and 9% are driving around with different colored loofahs on their car and wearing gold shoes trying to get in on the action. Of course, with all this occurring, this is the reason many Villagers have STDs. The other 7%? They leave their garage doors open waiting for a millionaire or a swinger to walk in. These people are old and unsophisticated and just sit back hoping for a stroke of luck. After all, they can't do anything on their own because they are too consumed with bringing back the 1970's.

The article noted a significant rise in short term renters. They bring black market viagra and other contraband across state borders to keep the filthy rich happy and well-stocked. Villagers often call these people "snow"birds or "snow" flakes. Why doesn't anyone get arrested or tough restrictions are not placed on short term rentals? Savvy Villagers often drive drunk in their golf carts or recklessly through round-abouts to keep the law enforcement busy. Some dare to walk on the wrong side of a MMP. When that doesn't work, they show up at an establishment naked from the waist down, flip their cars at the gates, or set fire to their golf carts. Occasionally, a few men get involved in a punching match. It is a well-oiled machine that the writer of the article does not believe will ever come to an end.

Perhaps in a 100 years we will become the next Atlantis?

Some of the ancient costal cities are now under water diving spots.

We have been to the squares and bars around it and do see others drinking. How much or how often not quite my business.

We have more friends here and go out more than we ever have in our life. Do not quite see a reason to expand our circle in order to find drinkers.

But thank you for that advise. I think.
