Golfed today. Three different pair of LoveBugs landed on the windshield. Doin’ their thing.

Must be September in The Villages.

Saw 2 of them today! DAMN, they are so annoying. I keep telling them to FOCUS and watch where they're going! LOL

Reminds me of the May Flies along the shores of Lake Erie. Bigger than Love bugs and more discreet about their love life. Perhaps should have been called June Flys because that is when I recall they visited. We used to call them Canadien Sailors.

Relax, they will be gone in two weeks.

Yes, and the walleye fishing slows down when the May flies are around.
I remember when any buildings close to the lake were completely covered
with fly's

They've been far worse in the past. They must not taste good because it is a BOGO for the birds.
Catch one and get one free. They are not fast either.

I remember from 07 to 2010, front of our car was always plastered with them, and every time we entered the house they were everywhere. But in the last 4-5 years, for some reason there were less each year.

Maybe Covid killed them off:girlneener:

It's the economy, they can't afford to live here anymore.

Just got back from Tampa. Saw none. MAYBE a light year.
