I rarely post about a company unless it’s to praise their good service. I am also putting this out there in hopes that someone else doesn’t go through the same. Noticed on Monday ac was not holding temperature. Made an appointment with Marc Anthony HVAC, who came out on Tuesday. David Rose was pleasant and efficient. Said he could find a problem but noticed the Freon was low and to keep an eye on it. Worked fine until Wednesday – called again for them to come out. Made an appointment for 2pm ,since we had a doctor’s appointment at the VA at 11:30 am. As we were still driving to the appointment Marc Anthony called and wanted to know where we were ? I explained about the appointment time and why – he said well that’s not what I have ??? He proceeded to tell us we MUST have a leak and that it is PROBABLY in the underground lines – the only solution was to replace and rerun them. Please note that he has not even checked our unit inside! Without going into all of the other nonsense he said the cost and he couldn’t do anything until TUESDAY ( 6 days without any AC), because they were so busy and had installations, and we were not the only ones without AC and it is a Holiday weekend. Never said anything else like – turn off our AC, no offer for any help or suggestion.
On Friday am I called another company for another opinion. Since we were NEVER told to turn off the system they had a hard time determining if and where a leak might be. Anyway they were able to finally locate the problem (NOT THE LINES) and in the short term offered us a portable AC unit while they fixed ours.
I called Marc Anthony’s office – no one answered – left a message to cancel on Saturday morning. Tuesday morning I get a call asking to confirm my appointment! They said they DON’T check their messages and were CLOSED all weekend – this is a 24/7 company with listed hours! That means that they were not too busy but lied. Marc Anthony was rude and abusive and said well don’t call me next summer when your AC is not working - - REALLY .
Please be careful – they do care about you or anything close to any Professionalism or Customer Service.
