Hi all,
I wonder if anyone has been in this situation and what you did about it....
1. I buy my TV home *before* I sell my non-TV home.
2. After the TV closing, I have some work done on the house (painting, etc)
3. I move into my TV home and my non-TV home is now empty; the house is now up for sale.
For your homeowner's insurance on your non-TV home, what did you do? I remember reading somewhere that if you leave a certain amount of items in the home (bed, table, chairs, pots, plates, utensils, utilities still on) that you are still covered.
Did you need to purchase an insurance rider for a "vacant" or "unoccupied" home? Did your realtor help out with this?
Thanks in advance!
