Destination: Buttonwood

It's Buttonwood or bust -- we're still working on loading the truck, but we leave in the morning. It's a two-day drive from Ohio (the first truckload a few months ago turned into a 3-day ordeal because the rental truck broke down -- but I digress.)

Unloading in 60 degree weather won't help but be better than the mid-20 degrees we've been loading in. (Husband=Superman. I have to be at work today :sad: ) We'll just be happy to finally be in TV!!

I'm stressed -- but blessed!

Won't be able to get on the computer for awhile, so Merry Christmas to all in TV. :wave:

We lived on adrenaline for the first few months. We drove around in our golf cart, stunned at our good fortune in discovering The Bubble.

I moved from Cincinnati area to Valley Oak Street in Buttonwood. Since we are off the first street on the right as you enter off St Chaarles, we called it Buttonwood Heights. :) Where are you from and where are you going to live now? :crap2:

I lived in downtown Cleveland for a year and I couldn't wait to get away from the winter when the winds came whipping off of Lake Erie and the temperature dropped to - 62 degrees with the wind chill factor. :cold:

The following weekend, it warmed to - 58 degrees. :cold:

I'm sure you won't miss it. :)

Hi all,

We have closed on our house in Illinois and will move to Pennecamp permanentely on 12/28. We are somewhat concerned that we may not be able to establish our residency in time to take advantage of the Senior exemption.
Any tip on facilitating this process would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to Buttonwood. Our neighborhood recreation group is so enthusiastic, we have re-located to Seabreeze for future events. We filled Fish Hawk's facility to capacity. Howz that for a bunch of "newbies" Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. PS We've lived here since May.

I also live in Buttonwood. I'm on Jarvis Ct., which is right off of Dorst. I have several friends on Bachman Path as well. Buttonwood is very large. However, we have a great group of people in our immediate area. Have you been to any of the Driveway Parties? That's a wonderful way to make new friends. There's a Driveway Party this Saturday, June 9th on Dorst Lane. PM me if you want the info. Trish
