Hi. I'm looking for the best Ford Dealership to make repairs on Mustang. Anybody have good or bad experiences with local Ford Dealerships?

What year Mustang? What type of problem? Under warranty? The reason I ask there are several shops that do quality work on various cars, but not warranty work. Mine (2012) is out of warranty, so I do not use the local ford dealers.

2018 - 4 cyl. not under warranty. 1) running rough, engine light on, not blinking. 2) ongoing intermittent problem with convertible top not going down. The reason we were looking for Ford dealership is simply that we have no knowledge of other repair services. So if you have a recommendation for good. . .& honest, we’d appreciate your input.

Bad experience @ Key Scales Ford in Leeseberg or maybe it's in Fruitland Park, not sure.

i second this choice with SumterTire. i had an issue with my 2008 town car that couldn't be 'fixed' when i went to the various dealerships. 1 visit to this amazing, family-owned operation & the 'uncle' was able to fix what all the others couldn't figure out--she's still in excellent shape today.

Sumter Tire or Pal's Auto in Ocala.

Some of those convertible roofs can be tricky to deal with. I just had Pal's fix the convertible top on my Jaguar. Sumter wouldn't even look at it, it was beyond their usual expertise. That said, for regular type repairs on my Acura, I always use Sumter Tire.

Problem #1 Wildwood Tire or Sumter Tire, I have used both, but WT of around 10 years.
Problem #2, I have a convertible also, same problem, it was a bad switch, I was able to install a new switch in about 15 minutes.
Send me a PM, and I will be glad to give you a hand with the convertible top switch.

Do NOT use Scales Ford which is the closest to the Villages....poorly run and they don't care. Best to go to Village Ford which has better customer service. Just use Ford.com and put your zip in and then choose. Just DON'T go to Scales Ford. Ownership and staff just don't want to get better so their CSI is terrible.

Village Ford is now Gary Yeoman's Ford.

They have a Quick Lane that needs to be changed to the Slow Lane, and they won't give you a reservation.

We've used this dealership for our 2018 Mustang and have not had any issues. Agree their fast lane oil change is not necessarily fast. But many of the dealerships are like this.

Have tried key scales, yeoman, and nick Nicholas have all been terrible for us. 2015 mustang convertible. Sumter tire is the way to go.

I see at least two negative comments in this string about Key Scales Ford. I just want to say that I have been there a few times and had just the opposite experience. Very responsive. Decent pricing. Fixed my issue and explained the problems and solutions. I have heard many very positive things about Sumter Tire and would probably go there for service in the future, but sometimes for various reasons, you want a dealership to fix your car. You might want to take a chance on Key Scales Ford.

I guess folks in the US are slow on the uptake. The Ford F-series trucks have been the best selling pickups in the US for 46 consecutive years...and the best selling vehicle in the US for 41 consecutive years. Man, those facts can be pesky!
