OMG $2.50 more for a ticket , this is the Morse families fault ,let’s start a petition , I mean you would think we are experiencing inflation or something .

Most movies that become available for rent on streaming are now $19.99 instead of $5.99.

Just don’t go anymore. Not like there is anything good to watch. I’m sure the writers strike had a lot to do with this.

AMC (the largest theater chain in the world) at Leesburg is by far the best option for those of us who love seeing movies on a big screen (yes, we have large screen tv's, but, for us, that's just not the same experience). There are lots of movies always coming out; as was also true all through the pandemic; contrary to the commonly repeated myth.
I believe AMC does still have $6 Tuesdays, and discounted seniors tickets; (not sure because we have A-List memberships, so we don't buy by the ticket). Even better, join AMC's A-List program, and for $24/month auto-pay see up to three movies per week at AMC theaters anywhere (such as Disney Springs, Altamonte Spring, many others everywhere); waived convenience fees for advance online reserved seat ticketing; concessions discounts; rewards; birthday concessions gifts, priority entrance and concessions lines, etc.
Luxury leather recliner seats.
Go for a walk in the mall; and shop a little. Several new businesses opened there recently.

Go to the movies at AMC in Lake Park Square. Prices just as reasonable at more time, better seating & easy access . Only negative is that it is a short drive.

A golf cart ride to a movie theater in a Town Square. Glad to still have one but sad that it's only one. Town Squares have a hometown feel when a movie theater is an anchor. Especially so when you're living in "Florida's Friendliest Hometown".

Don't care. My son always treats us to the movies at AMC in Leesburg including popcorn.

People still go to the movies?

We stopped going to movies years ago and have no plans to ever go again. We like to sit in our nice recliner sofa and watch movies on our big-screen TV where we can use the closed-caption, control the volume, take bathroom breaks, and even pause the movie to get a snack. Life is good.

I found out we can no longer purchase movie tickets from The Villages box office on-line. It was a nice convenience for avoiding long lines at the ticket window, especially in bad weather or for hit shows.

Very Stale Popcorn a few nights ago at the beginning of a show. You'd think they'd be on their best behavior when first opening for business... like maybe have a regional manager on site to put their best foot forward. Also- on Facebook someone posted a photo of the theater's website. Page top is the marquee still showing the letters for Lazy Mac's and Boozy Bingo. To me that shows they are out of touch with their new host community- considering they shuttered that popular eatery.

It is still not the same experience as seeing a movie in a theater. The sound system alone cannot be matched by a home theater.

I'm going to see "White Christmas" with Bing Crosby and Danny Kaye in the theater in LSL the end of this month. I am so looking forward to seeing this movie on a big theater screen.

this is good news for me because Epic has a lot of movie options our theater never had before. the titles here were very limited to mainstream, super-mainstream & duds, --nothing in between. a positive vote for AMC, where i CAN still get tix online, have a REALLY comfy chair & enjoy a nite out. i spent a lot of time there this Halloween season where the horror offerings were superb. a thumbs up from me
