Does this mean a new thread is coming about lack of movie theaters?

Hollywood actors, studios reach deal to end strike: reports (https://ktla.com/entertainment/sag-aftra-studios-agree-to-deal-to-end-strike-reports/)
Sounds like they will be back to work soon. I also might add that they probably do not market nor make films with a target audience of 55 or over.
Once in a while they do though. But probably more for the people in Miami, Southern California , NYC than the Villages, FL.
I do recall this movie did very well here in the Villages. Very long lines, Boynton Beach Club - Wikipedia (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boynton_Beach_Club)

This must have been one of the few places with long lines. And 17 years ago at that.

There have been many movies here in the Villages with very long lines. The Harry Potter movies and some of the Hunger Game movies. I had to go to the trailer sized Belmont theater to see the first one as the Villages refused to show movies from Lionsgate because then they have to show all first run movies from Lionsgate and they disliked the mindset of a certain director.

And many Tom Cruise movies shown here in the Villages have been very full. He did have some that did not do really well at the box office.
And John Travolta would sometimes come to the Old Mill Playhouse or the Barnstorm Theater to promote his movies even if some these were quite bad.
