Last Saturday our party of six sat down at 4:00 PM for a early dinner. We made reservations to sit outside because it would be a beautiful evening.
After we were seated nobody came to our table for 15 minutes to give us a menu and take our drink orders. My wife decided to go into the restaurant to see if she could be someone to serve us.
They told us they were in a shift change and apologized and someone would be with us shortly. One of the servers came over to and told us it was not her table but she would gladly take our orders to get us started. She gave us the menus and took our drink orders.
A couple of minutes later the manager came to our table to say they were sorry for what happened. They wanted to make it right and they would give us THREE complimentary desserts off their menu. These desserts were $8.95 each and the server said she would give us a double portion on the NY cheesecake because she thought the serving was small. We sure didn't expect this kind of treatment and we very much appreciated of this.
All our dinners were excellent and we made sure we tipped our server well. Thank you again Glenview CC.
