This is getting really exciting - Eastport is going to be fantastic in so many ways! Once completed, I can see it being the “it” and “cool” town square (or whatever the new term may be).

Aren’t we all fortunate (whether living North or South in TV), to have access to this new area.

Retirement is good!

If the island is where the entertainment will take place- which is an awekkosome idea- I hope they have an aggressive plan for mosquito and insect control. While most people assume 'They think of everything", take a look at the boating area at The Lake Okahumpka rec. center. This was dredged but is no so clogged with weeds it's unpleasant to even look at- can't imagine many boats are launched from there.

Entertainment is across from the island, looks like they might be a seating area on the island.

The rooftop bar will do well.

We were at Lake Okahumpka Rec center last week and the lake area near the Rec center is now very clear with no weeds on the surface. We were amazed at the difference. Maybe they treated the water with something?
