One of many restaurants to open in the Eastport area in next few years - I take several cooking classes each month at Sawgrass, and the Chef there is actively involved in getting Booster’s and other soon-to-be-announced eateries up and running in Eastport.
The future is exciting south of 44!

In the video it mentions the Shallow Creek Championship Golf Course will be the home course for the charter school pupils. Is the village of Moultrie Creek a "family" village? Are the charter school pupils under the age of 19 living in "family neighborhoods" allowed to use the amenities in The Villages ? I do realize the developers own the championship golf courses and as such can make any rule they so desire. Is there a golf team today and what is their home course ?

As I clearly disclosed with the statement The Developer owns the championship golf courses etc. Please answer the last sentence in my request.

Moultrie Creek is part of TV’s and is an age restricted, (55+), village and subject to the same residency rules of other villages in TV.
Middleton is non-age restricted that has its own amenities. Residents of Middleton cannot use amenities in TV.
Yes, there are both boys and girls golf teams today and they use, I believe, TDS as their home course. Shallow Creek will become the home course for both the boys and girls golf teams in 2024.

So, your question really has nothing to do with Championship golf.

Thanks - I've been in TV many many years and have never come across a high school golf team on the courses. Before someone goes in the wrong direction with that I have no problem with it. TV charter school students are the best. I do wonder why TDS would be the home course when Lopez is closer to the school.

I may not be correct about TDS being the home course. Looking back at some ‘23 match results, Glenview and Bonifay were both mentioned as host courses for TV boy’s team.

Swim teams from Villages Charter Schools have used Laurel Manor for swim practice and meets, for years. Laurel Manor which is a resident only pool, included in your amenities fees. Yes residents had to give up swim time to HS team
That no longer is the case as their new to HS team (previously owned) Olympic pool is ready for practice, and competition

When you watch the video, the spot along the water that looks like a multi level viewing area, looks like it was designed just like areas near France and Italy, in World Showcase that surrounds lake at Epcot.
Disney uses viewing areas for events, like live concerts, desserts parties, dining, or watch fireworks, with special tickets prices.

To Rustyp ---Moultrie Creek is not a family village. The kids will use Shallow Creek golf course to practice and play. They currently use Nancy Lopez and Belle Galde CC to play and practice. They are not residents of the villages but the schools use the courses.
