Would anyone happen to have a pre drywall picture of what is contained in the area under your Water Heater Tank? Looking for one that the Furnace and Water tank are in the utility closet in the garage on a Designer Home. Thanks

There are also 1 or 2 drain lines, one for the HVAC and one for the water heater drain pan, these MIGHT be connected together. I have pictures of our house under construction, I will need to look an see if one shows this area.

Our water heater was mounted outside/beside the a/c closet and had nothing under it, with the exception of some plumbing lines in the wall. I cut an access into the drywall, fashioned a "door" from a piece of plywood and now store paint underneath. It's cool and dry.

We had an interior flood and had to open the walls, there was nothing underneath the platform in the garage

My home is a 2006 Gardenia. My water heater was on a platform box.
We changed to a tankless water heater that is on the outside wall. When we removed the water heater we removed the box. Nothing there.
You might have to drill a hole and take a look inside yours.
