I am almost certain I read somewhere that if you have a complaint that isn't a CDD issue, noise complaint, for example that you should call the local PD. I can't imagine using 911 for such a thing. But how do we know which PD to call? We are going to be in Lake Denham.

I just like to keep all this info handy once we are there full time. I was able to find the fire department numbers on the CDD page.

Village of Lake Denham is in Leesburg, not Lady Lake. Lady Lake is 15 miles north. I'm also in Lake Denham and was not been able to get a straight answer from the developer as to whether it's Leesburg PD or Lake County Sheriff's Office who take care of our area.

In an emergency, dial 911 and give them your address and they will work it out for you.

For non emergencies, I would find the number for either Leesburg or Lake County. If it is not the correct number, they also will be able to help when you call.

Yeah that's what I was thinking too, and was surprised for Lake County it only listed Lady Lake.

I suppose if a non-emergency happens, whatever PD I call would point me in the right direction (as Bill pointed out in the very next post). I don't expect I'll ever need the PD for anything non-emergency, but you never know when some crackhead renter moves in next door. :D

The answer to your question is Leesburg PD. I live in Newell and have been asking this question for almost a year. As Newell’s, VHA rep, I asked The VHA for help, and they contacted the City of Leesburg and Lake County who presented what their services are. The VHA website is www.thevha.net to see it - and all the VHA has to offer. The link to the slides are below (you may need to copy/paste.

Look at your tax bill to see if you are paying taxes to the city of Leesburg or not. I just pulled up a random address in Denham and it did show it was in Leesburg.
