Cell phones for soldiers

Just moved in and replaced our cell phones with new cell phones. Where we came from in NJ I remember reading something about a program where you can donate your old cell phone to a group that passes it on to a soldier. Anyone know if a program of that type exists in the Villages or in the immediate surrounding area?

Wal Mart on 466 used to have a box to drop them in. Near the non-food entrance. Not sure if it is still there.

I noticed Savanna Center has a box by the side entrance. Would guess the other regional rec centers also participate.
