Has anyone used Yellow Blue Eco Tech or South Atlantic Energy to add insulation blankets in your attic? Or had them add Bluemaxx to your A/C unit? Trying to find out any info on this company.

As part of your investigation, please contact your electric (or gas) company for an energy audit and ask the specific question about the potential energy savings versus the cost of the additional insulation and include the lost investment or loan costs. In a previous house, I did this on my own (I was 20 years or more younger) and it was a rancher, so the attic was very easy access. I believe it was a good investment as we had very cold winters.
The other consideration, our insulation here is blown in, I would never add bat (blanket) insulation over blown in insulation.

I would recommend talking with local companies to get a quote as well. I believe they are based out of state and do dinner presentations to try sell their products. I can't speak for the AC thing they are trying to sell. However, the insulation blanket they are selling doesn't meet FL building code. You can't lay down a radiant barrier style insulation in the attic. It must be attached to the underside of the roof in 1 of 3 approved methods. Installation Criteria for Homes Claiming the Radiant Barrier Option | UpCodes (https://up.codes/s/installation-criteria-for-homes-claiming-the-radiant-barrier-option)

If you would like to talk with a local company about attic insulation please give us a call or stop by our local office. 352-307-7077.

There has been extensive threads about Bluemaxx and I do not recall any being positive about it. If it really was a miracle additive, why wouldn't it be widely used by manufacturers, mentioned positively be every home improvement show, or have a pile of 5* reviews by millions of people not related to the seller of it?
