Bridgeport, CT. 12 to 18 inches predicted along the shoreline.
Cancelled plans to see the football games in White Plains today to the blizzard that should start at 3 PM today.
Plenty of food and drink in the house so I will be a happy camper in front of the television today.

Has warmed up to 32 in North Georgia! Snowed all day yesterday. First time we've had a white Christmas in many years.

At the lovely Jersey Shore the snow is coming down heavily in fact Sue just looked out the front window and said "Wow". Predicton of anywhere up to 18" with winds up to 50 mph predicted which will make for lots of shoveling fun tomorrow. Good thing it's my choice what day to go into work this week. Was gonna be Monday but now Wednesday is looking better and better:D

70 degrees and no wind here at Lake Viking in Northwest Missouri -------------------------------------------------------- in my family room watching the Cheifs.
About 20 outside with a couple of inches of snow on the ground and on the ice on the lake. We lucked out for Christmas eve as it stayed above freezing while we had a steady mist - and no precip on Christmas day as we went to our children's in Kansas City.

Main Line Philadelphia - they canceled the Eagles Game - probably 'nuf said. Think they realized that the crazy Eagles fans would have gone no matter what the weather only to find the transit system shut down and the roads closed by the end of the game - can't imagine what a nightmare that would have been. Hopefully I'll be a TV resident next year before this time. Ready to trade my snow blower in for a golf cart.

28 degrees on Long Island, snowing and windy. Expecting 18 inches. We were having company today and that was canceled. Can not decide what to do with all the desserts. I might be forced to eat them all!

We have blizzard conditions just west of Boston, MA. Forecasters are calling this the largest blizzard to hit New England in years and could dump 20+ inches of snow in our town. Lets hope they are wrong. It may be unusually cold in TV, but it's not snowing. I'm so done with snow!

These northern reports do put things in perspective, but I just came in from wrapping up my robellini and the tips of my fingers (in gloves) would not indicate the true temp to me - I guess they weren't froze, but cold enough for me. That's the second time, think I'll just leave it wrapped up for a while...

This was as bad a day as I've seen in 8 winters of coming to the Villages . . . only 41 at 11am and tough winds. Good thing it was a football day because there wasn't much you could do outside but at least there was no snow to shovel!
RI/AL/TX/CA/AR/OK/MA/RI . . . TV (last but not least)!

Today is a beautiful day in TV... to stay in and read. I have enjoyed listening to the howl of the wind.

:oI emailed my daughter in Brooklyn complaining about the cold here. She replied that they're having a blizzard - 12 to 18 inches- and not to talk to her about cold.

I talked with a lady in Walgreens today. She said she has lived here for 40 years and it has never been this cold before.
I read years ago that someday the south would be cold and the north would be warm. Haven't figured that out yet.

A lady at Publix told me the same thing. She said she has often gone swimming at Christmastime in past years.
As for the south being cold and the north warm, the north doesn't seem to be cooperating. If it were up to me, the south wouldn't cooperate either! :swear:
My son told me it was 85 degrees in New Jersey and he was going out to play golf.

Take your son out of your will. That's just too cruel.
