Patriot, td, pool service has majority of business. Haven’t found anything better but always looking. You pay month to month so minimal risk if not happy.

Had nothing but problems with Patriot pools, T&D was great before they sold out, currently using Magic touch Pool Service, and I have not complaints, excellent service, very reasonable rates.

I had Patriot and they no showed week after week. After they serviced my pool once that month, I dropped them. They blamed it on staffing, but didn't have an answer on making sure it wouldn't happen going forward. They were not proactive in reaching out, so if I didn't notice their absence they wouldn't have let me know. Highly unethical, so will never do business nor recommend them.

Your best bet is to do what I did, look for small business who actually need your business and for you to be happy. I'll maintain myself once I retire, but I need the service now. I'm paying less than what Patriot charges and they show up every week without fail.

I worry there is no remedy in case of damages to an expensive pool. Can’t find any financial information or insurance information. It matters to me.

They have started cleaning, but their monthly rate is $100-$125 higher than their competitors. Their angle is that they also take care of the equipment, but if one has a new pool built by them its already covered under warranty. I might use them once that runs out, but not much benefit to paying those rates now.

Most in our neighborhood use TriCounty Pool & Spa. I have had them for about 3 yrs and have had great service. This included weekly maintenance and trouble shooting any pump/gas heater problems.

Hi - We’ve had T&D and one other outfit (small owner-operator firm since left the business), and were basically ok with both, but T&Ds cost went up and up much more frequently so we switched to Sparkle Pool Service if Central Fla. They are fairly priced (based on pool size and services needed), and have staff who can do both warranty & non-warranty work on most pool equip. They’ve been invaluable in handling issues that popped up while we’ve been away on trips!

The number of knowledgeable people who have left Patriot to go elsewhere is astounding. You have been warned.

Scotty's pool service. Retired Navy Chief. Does a great job weekly for pool and hot tub. Great guy, dependable and keeps you informed. Price is right, service outstanding. I don't pass along recommendations often, but he is the best. Tried 3 other companies over past 6 years. All the "biggies" for lack of a better word, they all suck.

I also highly recommend Scotty. He used to work for T&D. T&D was good until they became Patriot. We had to drop them due to no shows etc. Then we had another service I don't remember the name of and they were not good. Scotty started his own business and came by to let us know. We are so happy to have him back, excellent service and great guy. Also, keeps track of pool and spa equipment, shows us when there is an issue, and has repaired/replaced various parts as needed. Very knowledgeable.
