This is the defining equation regarding greenhouse gas physics. It is used by all IPCC climate modules -- and yet the media never mentions it -- especially the CO2 saturation aspect. Find out why: Jan 21, 1:30 PM, Laurel Manor.

Why the media never mentions this? Why don't climatologists who are beholden to the government and universities never speak out to debunk the myth of anthropogenic climate change? Why doesn't the media ever mention that the price of complying with the Paris accords would be $ 130 TRILLION? And most importantly, why are those that would benefit conveniently hiding behind all the "useful idiots" that they have recruited/bamboozled?
We all know why.

Schwarzschild is most noted for the black hole radius metric, and his 2nd most notable work is what the media is trying to hide from you, which are the exact solutions for Einstein's A & B coefficients which are necessary to make the Schwarzschild Equation work properly ... Schwarzschild's equation for radiative transfer - Wikipedia (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Schwarzschild%27s_equation_for_radiative_transfer) ... which is why Einstein is on this image. This an much more information (which the media tries to hide) will be presented at Thursday's talk.

Whenever I read scientific articles about The Schwarzschild Equation (which happily is next to never) or come across the phrase “and yet the media never mentions it” I hold my breath for approximately 30-45 seconds (depending on how I’m feeling that day), thereby decreasing my carbon footprint by a calculation too complicated to explain here or display on a graph. For scientific types, I’ve labeled it the “Guinness Equation” and the complete equation with all the trig and calculus calculations can be found on the men’s bathroom wall of Bull Feeney’s Irish pub in Portland Maine. While I have your attention, who do you think Bull Feeney really was? He was a real and very famous person. Hint: his real last name is that of an American car manufacturer but one should really think “Hollywood” and some of good old American movies. Happy holidays, all.

Had never googled the guy. Coincidentally had just read up on Maureen O'Hara yesterday. "Festus" was his SIL for a while. :-) Lots of fun new info in the (*long*) Wikipedia article. And, now know that Wilhelm Fried Fuchs (Fried Vilmos) is the ultimate namesake of that eponymous channel. Also reminded me of recently having read the fascinating story of Carole Lombard. Right, Hollywood is dying to make that Schwarzschild movie. But since someone mentioned CLIMATE, I would just remind people that 2023 was a banner year for climate RECORDS. Because 2023 was the HOTTEST IN RECORDED HISTORY. REAL climate scientists have stated that the next 8 years will continue to be HOTTER and HOTTER worldwide. This morning on TV Dr. Vin Gupta (please Google him) had some VERY dire warnings about human health from the elevated temperatures like 2023. it is even affecting human life spans (negatively). Disease and new disease transmissibility will increase. Asthma will increase due to increased temperatures. Crime will increase due to increased human irritability.
..........It is almost humorous how REALLY BIG this problem is and simultaneously how LITTLE US Government agencies are doing about it. Talk about our grandchildren all we want, but most people don't REALIZE that we are leaving them with an almost UNLIVABLE planet. And people wonder why migrants are moving NORTH (think about THAT) !!!!!!

Ha. Someone can do research. Bingo. Bull Feeney aka John Martin Feeney aka Hollywood legend John Ford. From Portland Maine; born 1894. My grandfather (b. 1896) and Feeney (Ford) were members of an Irish youth gang circa 1910s whose domain was the docks of Portland Harbor. Tough lads. Feeney eventually made it west to Hollywood. The rest is film history.
*The film “The Quiet Man reflects his fascination and pride in his Irish immigrant roots. The protagonist, Sean Thornton — boxer — by John Wayne, is an alter ego for Ford (Sean being an Irish equivalent of John).
Ford did love boxers, and that's part of the appeal of Victor McLaglen, who won an Oscar for The Informer, and who then appeared Wayne Ford in mostly comic roles in Ford's cavalry trio. Clearly, there was a love of the gusto and camaraderie in saloons-preferably frequented by Irish and Irish immigrants, which he grew up with in Portland where his father owned a bar.”
"I like the old masters, by which I mean John Ford, John Ford, and John Ford."

Guess why the public is familiar with Einstein's (E=mc2) equation, but not Schwarzschild's equation? Even though Schwarzschild's equation is the defining science describing greenhouse gas warming (and cooling) ... the public has never heard of it. This equation sits at the heart of the so-called "climate crisis" ... and yet the media ignores it. I wonder why.

The media is mostly ignoring the fact that there IS a "climate crisis". 2023 is the HOTTEST on record. And the last 7 years have been getting increasingly HOTTER. This is NOT hearsay, theory, or hypothesis. It IS actual temperature MEASUREMENTS all over the Earth. The US and other nations should be working on how to COMBAT this warming, NOT listening to naysayers. NOT debating which overseas war the US should support. Man is losing it's war with mother nature of our Earth. People have trouble seeing Global Warming because it happens SLOWLY like a frog in a slowly boiling pan of water. OK so some people believe that Global Warming is NOT caused by mankind. But, I believe that I read that 95% of climate scientists believe that GW IS caused by MAN (AND SPECIFICALLY CO2 pollution). No one is disagreeing that throughout long, LONG term geological time there has been warming and cooling centuries of time. There are fossils of equatorial plants buried in the Arctic zone. I am arguing and repeating climate scientists that are talking about THIS century and really about the last 7 years when climate change has caused increasingly warmer years WORLDWIDE (caused by man). Now we are at the end of 2023 which has been RECORDED as the HOTTEST in recorded history (not geological time, but right now time). No one can deny that 2023 was the record HOTTEST year. No one, no way , no how. That is just what it is ........and we MUST live with that fact and find a SOLUTION. And a part (a subset) of the problem is all of the people scurrying northward from the equator towards and into the US. They are driven northward by the HEAT, which we all know we felt right here in TV land in the summer, which was just part of the WORLDWIDE record HEAT of 2023. Dr Vin Gupta was just on TV this morning going over the BAD HEALTH effects of the 2023 record HEAT (PLEASE GOOGLE THAT)

Sorry, that's the junk science version. In reality a cooler object (like the atmosphere) CAN NOT warm a warmer object like the earth. You can not walk into a walk in freezer and expect it to warm you up. Here's the standard atmospheric profile showing temperatures cool as you ascend. They are driven northward by the HEAT, which we all know we felt right here in TV land in the summer, which was just part of the WORLDWIDE record HEAT of 2023. Dr Vin Gupta was just on TV this morning going over the BAD HEALTH effects of the 2023 record HEAT (PLEASE GOOGLE THAT)
That certainly MAY be true. I don't really know or CARE. What i DO know is that 2023 was the HOTTEST on recorded history and I notice that the naysayers about climate DANCE AROUND that fact. Facts have a way of NOT lying.
To the question of what climate change, I would say the one that is evident by the FACT that 2023 was the hottest on record and so was the last 10 years.
Data......2023 was the warmest in recorded history! And the last 10 years have been rapidly rising in heat and real climate scientists are VERY worried. Also we have rapid species extinction, coral reefs dying, and glaciers in Antarctica falling into the sea. And we also have worldwide sea level RISE. No one can ignore those PROBLEMS. Doctors have found evidence of increased crime and decreased lifespan due to HEAT rise, also childhood ASTHMA.
Man produces CO2 like in automobile which rise and for a layer that reflects HEAT back to earth. It is all discussed in Climate science literature.

Wow----ONE hot year out of the last 4 million----yep, I'd go with that as scientific evidence :1rotfl::1rotfl::1rotfl:
Wait and see. My New Years prediction is that 2024 is HOTTER than 2023. It is a trend that we will be able to FEEL this summer. Florida is VERY vulnerable to the LARGER hurricanes due to the hotter ocean temperatures. The Florida coastline has to deal with the rising ocean levels due to Antarctica ice melting and large icebergs forming. Florida is TRYING to regrow its coral reefs that are badly damaged. The HEAT causes greater crime and displacement northward of South American population. We can NOT solve a problem until we recognize THAT problem.

We NEED solutions, not naysayers.
What "crisis?" Sorry, but I am in my mid 70's and the only change I have noticed is that the air is cleaner than it was when I was a kid. Is that bad; a crisis?
I was just a wee lad when I read the story of Chicken Little. You know "the sky is falling, the sky is falling."
If a bunch of fools wish to waste their money on "scientific" studies with results that they then pervert to enhance the grifter tendencies of politicians, then just leave me out of their scheme. I sincerely doubt that our climate will change enough to be noticeable before I pass on from this life.
For those that are disrespectful to the OP, why bother reading any of his stuff if all you are going to do is disparage him with no countering facts?

To the question of what climate change, I would say the one that is evident by the FACT that 2023 was the hottest on record and so was the last 10 years.
Sooo, in order to have a "hottest" or coldest, the temperature has to change. And as far as I know, we have NEVER had two years exactly the same. As far as I know, that would likely be construed as climate changing. I remember when I was working a construction job years ago (the early 70's) and the temps reached in excess of 104 degrees. Workers were being sent home by their foremen due to the "record" heat. I've been to countries where the temps went into the 120's. The point is that when you have a record hot day in one area, you also have some place else that is cooler/colder. Let me know when the temperature reaches 120 degrees here and I will be impressed. I might even be concerned, for a short time. :ho:

"– All-time highest temperature: 109° F (Monticello 5 SE on June 29, 1931)
– All-time lowest temperature: -2° F (Tallahassee on Feb.13, 1899)"
Personally, I hope I don't see another -2° F day/night. Now, if we could just get the temps in the mountains up North to reach continuous highs, I would consider moving. I do like the mountains, however I also enjoy HOT weather. And yet "the sky is falling."

Few, if any, tickets. Tons of fuel would be saved and emissions lowered dramatically. Roadrage would be a thing of the past. And, if a passenger did get upset, the AI driver could calm them with gas.
But we are off track,
Now! Back to our regularly scheduled climate talk.

Even for you, that is a bizarre claim. Please show us the average temperature in the year 84,731 BC, or 56,892 BC, or 16,783 BC or even better yet, just 1343 AD. So, in short, 2023 MAY have been the hottest year in the last 100 or so, the other 99,900 years of your claim are dismissed.
Google is your friend, too. If those particular years are of some special interest to you, then I'm sure you can check them yourself.

Actually, I am a pretty normal, well adjusted JOE that has enjoyed the subject of Science since high school science class. Climate Change is the biggest LONG TERM problem faced by the whole WORLD. It is easy to ignore because it has happened S-L-O-W-L-Y in the PAST. But, that is HISTORY, it is happening RAPIDLY in the past 10 years. Interesting, I just heard on TV that scientists actually warned about this happening in the 1950s and some of the scientists worked in the OIL industry. Also, I heard that 2023 was the HOTTEST YEAR on the planet for the last 100,000 years! Remember this summer when the Mississippi River practically dried up and that HAD for bring gasoline prices and prices for other goods up. So, global warming has already affect all of the Villagers. There is some good news because wind and solar farms are now the lowest cost for electrical energy, and that cost is decreasing. Atomic ENERGY produced by NEWER methods is likely only about ten years away. I don't mind debate, but I have refrained from engaging in ANY personal attacks. PLEASE just debate, NOT insult!
You never debate. You simply repeat the same mantra over and over and over again...
All while ignoring any contradictory evidence...

Actually it was one hundred and TWENTY thousand years. I heard and saw it on today's Jake Tapper CNN show at around 4 minutes into his program. Or, maybe it was just warming anyway----just as it has done at least a dozen times in the last 4.5 million years.
There is a very SIMPLE logic to prove that recent Global Warming is man-made. The earth now has 8 billion people in it and it is only fairly recently (like 30 years) that the earth has made it to that many people. The US population when most of us were born was about 100,000,000 people - now it is over 3 times as much. And India and other 3rd world countries have increased more than the US. These population increases have increased the need for more electricity power plants, more automobiles, more food, and basically MORE everything. Which means more CO2 pollution.
........The TV show with Jake Tapper pointed out that countries in America and Europe could be crushed and become dis-functional as millions may end up moving Northward - that is unprecedented. Another problem for India is that it is fairly flat and the ocean could take over some parts.

As we all know there is recorded history in rocks, ice cores etc? Shows data allowing experts to date the earth back 4,500,000,000 years. Shows data of multiple ice ages over the years. Shows records of water levels much higher than current levels in between ice ages. Shows long periods of temperature much higher than current period. Many periods of global cooling and global warming. Even before humans. That is reality.
The causes of those changes were exclusive of human influence. Additionally, we have been in a period of global warming for 1000's of years.
Can humans affect the greenhouse gases? Yes. Just by breathing (inhale air at 21% oxygen. 04% CO2)(exhale air 16.4% oxygen, 4.4% CO2) Double the population, double the CO2. But then the plants absorb CO2 and emit Oxygen. But life goes on, the sun rises, people war, people procreate, society advances.
People have migrated since they began to exist. Weather had impacts but is not the sole cause.
Rather than dispute cause and impact on TOTV, why not offer solutions that you have implemented that contribute to a reduction to the problem. The answer is not go electric on everything. Production of electricity is a high consumer of carbon-based fuels.
Have you gone solar for your power needs? Have you reduced your carbon footprint in travel such as Trains instead of planes? Solar, water, wind Electric verse carbon fuels? Have you cut back on home AC and Heat requirements? Have you eliminated pleasure trips for sightseeing or family visits. Are you recycling your garbage and trash in some way other than what The Villages offers? Are you cutting back on your use of hot water from electric or gas fuels.

I guess that I should be happy with some limited attempt to debate the actual issues (with just a slight dash of snark). That is an improvement over some. I guess that I can MOSTLY agree with the statement, "double the population, double the CO2". I will agree if the population is total worldwide and averages in BOTH 1st world and 3rd world populations because the 1st world produces much more CO2 pollution. That is why US and China populations are so important and why illegal immigration into the US is a SERIOUSLY bad issue.
......Yes, people have always migrated, but the migration that I am talking about is RECENT (10 years) migration caused by MAN-MADE CLIMATE-HEAT ruining their crops and forcing them Northward. Obviously, they are NOT migrating southward toward the Equator.

You ignore comment about accepting that record exists of multiple periods of global warming and global cooling much more drastic than your year 2023 hottest year on record. All of which occurred prior to any man made influence.
Of course, that would dispel the suggetions that the 2020 years are the hottest years "Ever", and that man is totally at fault. Also ignored is that scientists have stated we are still on the downside of the last Ice age.
You also don't mention solutions that you have implemented to particpate in reducing the problem .
Again, not saying that man does not impact global temperature. Man has drained swamps, reclaimed land from the sea, cleared forests, created huge concrete hot spots, mined and drilled for fuel to power equipment and heat and cool homes. We all walk around in our 98.6 F bodies transferring heat to the environment.
The earth is wrapped in a blanket of air. The lower level is called by some, the Troposphere and because of gravity the densest air. This level is about 6.8 miles (11KM) thick. The temperature in this area decreases by about 11.7 F per Kilo or 117 F within the 6.8 mile. After that we have the stratosphere which goes from 6.8 miles to 31 miles. The first 12 miles of the stratosphere has a constant temperature and then a raise due to the Ozone Layer.
The point is that the earth is in a virtual see thru thermos bottle. The heat is not coming from the gases that make the air. The heat is coming primarily from the radiation from the sun and secondarily from sources on the earth. The air also gets its heat from the sources. Night time and temp decreases, no sun. Cloudy and temp decreases, no sun. Winter less sun, temp decreases. Summer more sun, temp increases.

Not in recorded history, which goes back some 5,500-6,000 years----in the history of weather records, which goes back about 150 years. And I doubt "we all" agree on that either, depending on the methodology used, which changed in 1977---only 46 years ago

I'm still waiting for someone to answer the question: How much did mankind contribute to climate change, CO2 increase, etc. over what would naturally occur. So far, the only answers is that since there are more humans on earth than at another time, there MUST be a correlation between the increase in CO2 and Global Warming. The answering solution seems to be that we must get rid of all mankind to stop the Climate from changing. Another answer that seems to be a skipping record (vinyl type) is that Australia does everything better than us. It reminds me of some folks theory that in order to lower crime rates, we must raise the income level (throw money at the problem) of all those that make less than the rest of us that worked for our level of lifestyle. Because everyone knows that crime is related to being impoverished, not because one is lazy or evil. In order to rid everyone of a bias or prejudice, laws must be made that makes anything that one does not agree with a violation (hate speech) of the law.
And yet, a simple question like "how much did mankind contribute to Global Warming/Climate Change" results in tap dancing to avoid answering. Just show me proof, that's all. It's kind of hard for me to consider some of the supposed proof when there is also proof that much of the US of A was underwater at a certain period in the past. That dinosaurs roamed the world and required great amounts of vegetation, and the world had to warmer to sustain enough vegetation to feed them.
Just show me the proof that mankind has caused Global Warming and not the natural ecological recurring changes that would happen regardless of a human populated Earth. Simple question. Saying there is a larger population therefore the climate is warmer is just like saying there are no more dinosaurs on Earth, therefore that must have caused the ICE AGE.
Just my two cents. Personally, I don't think that throwing a trillion bucks of someone else's money into the research of the subject is something that we should be considering. Donations should be voluntary, not mandatory. Let those that insist on this folly, provide voluntary funding/donations to the cause. I guarantee that if there was no money involved, there would be very little interest in the subject.

I'm just hoping 2024 is one of the coolest years on record, so "we all" can stop hearing how 2023 was so warm and the beginning of a trend.
Anyway, MERRY CHRISTMAS! (Whether you anticipate snowmen or
puddles in the future:1rotfl::1rotfl::1rotfl:)
Merry Christmas! G E & to all! 🎄🎄
