Motorcycle restoration (couldn't find any other forum to post in)

Just brought down a 1974 Honda 350F. Would like advice on someone to do restoration.
I've already contacted the Village motorcycle club.

contact trikes by design, in Inverness, they have a Honda trained technician. They may be able to help. They work on 2 wheelers.

My thoughts, as a rider for 58 years, who has owned as many bikes. If you can’t do it yourself, don’t bother. You will probably have twice as much in it as it’s worth. JMO

That's the reason I sold my Honda Goldwing trike I brought down from Wisconsin.

I'm not mechanical incline to start with and some maintenance on a Goldwing
takes hours, like getting at the engine air filter and that's with tools that I don't have.

As much as I like riding it, (not so much in Florida), I felt
the expense of service and riding to a Honda stealership @ $120,00 a hour just wasn't much fun, not to mention the @#$%^&*(*&^% Florida traffic and the heat of the blacktop in summer.

Besides as you age, you don't heal so will.

You should try to do it yourself. My covid lock-down project was restoring a 1976 Honda CJ360T that sat for 30 years. My son and I took it down to the frame and rebuilt everything. I also did my first spray paint job and from 5 feet away looks great.

There are tons of videos on utube and parts are available. There are also companies that specialize in the old Honda twins like "common-motor.com"

I think the biggest problem in having someone restore your old bike is they would probably charge you way more than the bike would be worth restored.
