Symphony in Lights of Snowman Way is back up and running and will finish out the schedule for the year starting tonight, Thursday, Dec 28, with "Holiday Medley" at 7, 8, and 9pm! Saturday's showing of the music of "Frozen" will be the last opportunity to see it as the show is being retired after this year.
The "Symphony in Lights of Snowman (Wise) Way" has been dark since last Thursday. Unfortunately, rabbits gnawed on my data cables and extension cords, and we have been dark since last Thursday. I have had to replace all the data cables and some extension cords. We are having to unplug all the lights and bring in each controller and hook them up individually to the computer to run diagnostic tests. I am hoping to have the lights up and running tonight, Christmas Eve, but I can't guarantee that as we still have a bug in the system somewhere. Wouldn't you know it would be Christmas weekend when the rabbits decided to have a banquet on the wires!
However, the response to the article in the paper was amazing last night with well over two hundred cars and golf carts! AJ, a neighbor of mine, was a huge help to me in explaining to all the people who came expecting to see the lights what had happened. They dropped off a lot of food for the St. Theresa Food Bank.
Many people commented on the wonderful "Snowman Way" drive, wanting to know where and how we got so many adorable Snowmen, and how magical it was driving in.
I will post again when the lights are back up and running!
In the mean time you can check out my drone footage of two of the shows, "Frozen" and music of Pentatonix at: for "Frozen "Symphony in Lights of Snowman Way" - Frozen 2023 on Vimeo (http://vimeo.com/893895480) and Pentatonix at: "Symphony in Lights of Snowman Way" - Pentatonix 2023 on Vimeo (http://vimeo.com/893956071)
