Hi! I'm going to be renting in the Village of Fernandina this week until the end of February. When looking at the Village Sun Recreation activities, I see only a few pickleball opportunities for beginners. I see lots of pickleball sessions with names, such as Judy's pickleballers (only an example). When we did our lifestyle visit down south there were lots of pickleball listed for beginners. Not so where I'm looking now. Are these name places closed to a group? Can I just show up at the pickleball courts and hope for the best? I love playing pickleball!!

go to http://pickleballcommunity.com/ and then select "new to pickleball activities". There is a comprehensive list there of all the times set aside for beginners or advanced beginners.

The times at a specific court with a name - such as mine; Nicks Clique - means at least part of the court has been reserved for them. Every court in TV is open play (just show up) from daylight until 10 AM.
