Is there a place on this web sight to look for/ put myself out there.
Don't want to break rocks. Maybe a delivery job of some sort. Where do I look or should I pound the pavement. Thanks. Bud

You can try the daily newspapers; they typically have jobs listed. While I have not noticed lately many businesses had help wanted signs out, I know the bowling alley (Spanish springs) has ads for full time and part time positions.

Minimum wage went up to $12/hour as of this past September and will be $13/hour next September.
Meanwhile, the OP hasn't mentioned what kind of work he's looking for, only that he doesn't want to "break rocks?"
I guess that means he doesn't want to perform heavy physical labor.
So that means - you can look into retail - supermarkets and restaurants are pretty much all hiring. So is Walmart.
But they're not looking for someone to work for just one month. The OP wasn't really clear on that - he said he'd be looking for a part time job this month. Does that mean - he'll start looking this month? Or does it mean he is only wanting to work this month, and not after?
Since it's winter, there's not much need for lawn mowing or hedge-trimming services. Anything else would depend on what kind of skills you have, and the type of work you're looking to do.
You could probably check out some of the tax prep companies, they do training and it's that time of year.

Shooter's World is frequently hiring for part time and full time employees. From what I've heard they are willing to work with employees on when you want to work.

The neighborhood Walmart near Colony has a sign out front saying they are hiring.

Arbud... the daily sun has job listings every day. Also, Indeed, is a website for jobs. Also the villages hire part time workers for a variety of jobs at rec centers, ambassadors at the golf courses and many, many others. I would go to their website or the office in Lake Sumter

Indeed.com is a good site. Put in your criteria—p/t, driver, the villages, and they will give a list of jobs available. Sign up for email notifications and they’ll send you new jobs that come up. My husband was a driver local taxi company and for an assisted living complex. I’ve seen other interesting driver jobs that don’t deal with general public—medical labs, auto parts. Good luck.

You would think with a Community like The Villages, that there would be lots of jobs. However, we are nestled in communities that have no employment so many of those part-time jobs would be taken up by the locals. The average income around us in the last quoted numbers was $17,500 per year. We have a well educated college daughter, who is here for six months before she takes her full-time job and even she has only had a single request for an interview. ( she did avoid restaurant work which would have helped). If you look at McDonald’s, they often have a janitor position Publix in the past had late night stocking positions not the type that you were talking about. So you have to be alert and responsive to try to get anything that is probably more menial than you would expect.
Also check what flexibility there is with the local businesses, there are few corporations to set that model. I interviewed with one of the larger players and they offered vacation days after 1 year and most require weekends and or evenings. I asked one if I could leave an hour early on a slow rainy day to meet our daughter at the airport and was told absolutely not.
That’s has been the largest shock/disappointment of moving here. We were in the tech space and our jobs were eliminated with the last slowdown so we have had 5 jobs in our first year here. 4 of them local.
I am very fortunate to have landed at Custom Windows and Exterior Design where they let you take time off for a quick doc trip or family emergency. Very very unusually generous and understanding. Cover those bases first if you are looking to enjoy your lifestyle.

Deliver food for Doordash and Ubereats. You set your own hours, work unsupervised and still make money as an independent contractor.
