Hello people, does anyone know if Hill Top is open or if not when it might be open.

Thank David

I go in the early am to drink my coffee and watch the sunrise. I was at the hilltop last week and they had grass down and it's looking good.

Played it this morning. A little disappointed with greens but hopefully will improve in coming weeks fairways a little wet but looking pretty good.

Well, don't get off the fairways, you will break an ankle in some of the truck tire ruts left by the contractor. You might break an iron trying to hit ball from the 3 inch deep ruts. Poor quality control before opening.

Unfortunately, some entitled morons decided it was perfectly fine for them to play on Hilltop before it was officially opened. And of course - they felt it was equally fine to drive off the cart path and around the fairways. I watched one of those entitled morons when I was coming down Paradise to get the mail a little over a week ago.

It absolutely disgusts me how little respect some people have for the community they live in.

I hope you called the Sheriff's dept if the course wasn't officially opened. They should be held accountable for the damages. It's the only way that behavior will stop.

That's average behavior for the villages!

I've tried doing that when I saw trespassers on Silver Lake. I've been told "it's not my property, not my business. That is my new mantra. I will not report anything anymore.

That's because calling the Sheriff's office to report a golf cart on a private golf course when the course is closed, is not the appropriate thing to do unless you are the owner of that private golf course.

The appropriate thing to do would be to call Community Watch. And THEY can chase the golfers off the course.

Thank you for enlightening me. I don't think that ever worked either. Actually, I recall reading about someone being arrested on a golf course for smoking pot. Community watch can't do that.

Hard for them to do that. Have never seen one of these watchers get out of their vehicle.
