Book- complete guide to the villages

Have any of you seen this book, and if so do you recommend it. We will be moving to TV in mid Feb and I was wondering if this is worth getting. Unfortunately, it is not on Amazon, nor in the Villages public library, so I can't check it out first.

Hi Tony....welcome!!!!....i just purchased this book on my last trip there in October... Bought it for $5.00 I think in The Sun admin office in Spanish Springs....I do like looking at it but not a lot of information I didn't already know...full of advertisements as well...certainly worth $5.00 though... Hope this helps... :)

The Talk Host of Talk of the Villages has a publication called, "Don't Even Think About Moving to The Villages without Reading This Book First". It is available for download from this site for $10. From the TOTV Home Page, it's the first ad at the top left. You can click the link to order it.

Do I recommend it? Dunno. We bought here and didn't read it. :D Can hardly wait 'til DH retires and we can move here full time.! In fact, if I wrote an e-book, it would probably be titled, "Don't Even Think About Reading This Book Before You Buy Your Dream Retirement in The Villages." :read:

Kidding aside, I would think that Talk Host's book has a lot of valuable information and probably is fun to read.
