Booked without a bond, put him away and throw away the key!

To clarify, if they found the pornography on his computer, that is downloading. Uploading implies that he was selling or sharing pornography with others.

Throw him into an oubliette, leave him there and forget about him.

If he was uploading files, there has to be a destination. What was he uploading it TO? The destination might determine additional charges. Meanwhile, he's booked without bond, so the justice system is doing its job this time.
I hope the files that were uploaded, can be used to help locate these children and get them out of their situation.

Only questions-no answers. BIG BROTHER is watching and growing in power. You look up lawn disease and you are bombarded with ads. You purchase something. Due to rebates, ease of use etc most people pay with credit cards. BIG BROTHER knows what you purchase.
We all hear porn is growing. Is it or are we just more aware? Movies? Frankly the change to digital, the far lower price and rise in quality due to chips and progress in electronics have allowed so many people to create websites.
Solutions? Some posters think we should go back to the rack, burning at the stake etc. Are we getting better?

What? It's allegedly child pornagraphy, with the emphasis on CHILD. I get some of your concerns but we have to draw the line somewhere and for most people it will be with the sexual exploitation of kids. Still, I have seen a number of these cases where the charges were dropped because it turned out to be a few photos downloaded among thousands and it appeared to be unintentional. Uploading child pornagraphy is a different matter totally. The intent is somewhat obvious. If that is the case here, the perp was likely communicating online with a chat group or site that was actually set up by law enforcement.
