Does anyone have Quantum Fiber Optic service? If so, what area do you live in? We called today but they said it is not available in our neighborhood area. At the moment we have Century Link. Thank you.

Have you tried this ;check availability' link from Quantum? It lets you know if it is available at your address, it also wants to know if you are a current Century Link (I think that makes the upgrade easier). It also may be that they are in the process of rolling it out, so if the link says optic fiber is unavailable, it is probably worthwhile to keep checking once in a while.
Access to this page has been denied. (https://www.quantumfiber.com/shop/)
It says 'Access to this page has been denied.', but open the link anyway, it works.

That is why I gave the online link, even though they said they called. The call center is less than 100% in my experience. However, when I got the service, it has been great.

As I'm looking at houses, it appear that any place north of 466A does not have quantum fiber available. Seemingly you can get Xfinity, or something much slower; no Spectrum or Quantum.
Is anyone aware of whether Quantum is planning any expansion north? Or this is pretty much it?

I just recently switched to quantum fiber and I live in Springdale, you can't get much farther north than that.. working great

I had Centurylink fiber and switched over to Quantum (they bought Centurylink fiber) and pay a permanent $30 a month for 200Mbps. It's fast enough for our streaming TV needs and computer usage. No issues at all and they maintain their speed and do not throttle our internet flow. Sure beats our past Xfinity cost of over $200 a month for cable.
We are North of Rt466.

Weird, because literally every address I've plugged in that has been north of 466A comes back as 'not available at this address'. You have given me hope that there are actual choices that might be available.
Edit: It looks like available in Marion county, but not so much south of it. So I will amend my initial question to be north of 466A but south of the Marion county line.

Just switched to Quantum Fiber from Century Link a month ago. $50 for speeds up to 500 Mbps. Speed varies a lot from 200 to 500 during the day. Included a mesh system with 4 boxes around the house. We live in St. James.

It would be best to contact Quantum you'll only get speculation here and uninformed opinions

I just plugged in a random address in the Village of Santiago, & Quantum Fiber is available there.

Ah yes…seems a couple Sumter county villages above 466 do indeed have it (just not the ones I’m looking at 😃). Hopefully they are continuing to build it out and will get between the sixes some day. Not a dealbreaker by any means, but competition is nice to have.

Are the Villages you're looking at much south of Santiago? I think Quantum is rolling out the service, but who knows how long it will take to reach all areas? (I'm a little south of 466A & do have Quantum).

Basically looking anywhere north of 44 and south of 466; but predominantly between the sixes. My parents are in Fernandina (south of 466A) and I know it’s available there. Next time I’m down I’m going to try to rescue them from the exorbitant amount they are paying to Comcast.
