Great movie about groups of people who begin to find one another after the world has been devastated and changed. Movie was in color and I seem to remember that people were in this country wandering around and were slowly finding other groups and starting all over again. Very interesting..... maybe 20-25 years ago. I think it was on TV rather than in a theatre. Know the title?

Two that I can think of : Red Dawn (movie) and Jericho (TV-Series). Liked them both. Hope it helps.
