Styles of homes in TV

I see on 'Villages - Our Homes' they list the following six styles. Is this consistent throughout TV or are these just the newer homes that are currently being built ?

Patio Villas, Courtyard Villas, Cottage Homes, The Verandas, Designer Homes, Premier Homes

What areas have natural gas - stove, water, ect - are they mostly in the newer southern end or can they be found throughout TV ?

I heard on a UTube video - don't recall which one - that they may be building another hospital in the southern end of TV. Is there any truth to this ?

When we're at TV what roads would be best to use to quickly get around ? We see Buena Vista and Morse north and south and the numbered roads east and west, however we're not familiar with traffic conditions, construction, ect. Are these the best options or are there others we should use instead ?

I think the styles of houses are relatively consistent, what mostly changes are the floorplans, & then cosmetic things like available paint colors. Changes have been made over the years, but the basic villa, house idea remains similar. I think Verandas were only built recently so they are in the newer area, they are 'designer' with a different floorplan model name & a backyard fence. They did stop making 'Premier' for a few villages, but I believe they are starting back again.

Gas is throughout, but not consistently. For example it seems to be available in the newer villages, but in the older villages, some Villages have it & some do not. It would be best to inquire in each situation.

Buena Vista & Morse for north south travel & 466, 466A & 44 for east west. Then smaller roads depending on the village you are in. Sometimes I use 301 for north/south it depends on where I am going.

As for the hospital, I too, would be interested in learning if it has been postponed, delayed or cancelled. Maybe someone will chime in.

Found a reference to the new hospital they're considering posted by Goldwingnut (01/07/24) . Not familiar with HCA or Trailwinds Plaza, could someone jump in and clarify them.

That's a Target that is going in next to Lowe's. With the HCA hospital, Mr. Carwash, Target, Ashley Furniture, and Outback Steakhouse that are scheduled there is basically no room left in the Trailwinds Plaza area left.

Hospital plans are out there, getting the Certificate of Need (CON) can take years, before any facility can build. CON determines the beds, of need. Its not like you build it and they will come.

The hospital I worked at was a tiny 100 beds in the middle of farm land.since there wasn’t any facilities within 13 miles. CON and build Start within 8months. Expanded to 195 10 years later.

The hospital my spouse worked at was 9 miles away in the middle of a vast affluent Jewish community, that wanted a hospital. CON took 2 years before start build of 210 beds.

Large corporation applied for CON between the two hospitals . They were so confident because of Big money and influence land cleared and footings for new hospital started while waiting for CON. Both current hospital corps fought new build.

Three years later of legal battles CON, denied project was dropped. Field is still empty 25 years later, 4 different facilities for CON have been applied and denied in those 25 years.

Once the CON is in place building a facility isn’t quick, even with population in TV the new facility will be ghost town for awhile. We both enjoyed working at multiple brand new facilities, watching the slow growth of patients evolve into bursting into full beds for weeks on end.

Getting around "quickly" is relative, the villages is now over 70 square miles, and North to south (vice versa) can easily be an hour by car and close to 2 by golf cart, so plan accordingly.

The styles you mention are basically the typical sizes of houses from small to large, within each of these there will be several variations. The villages website will have a lot more information on house plans for each category, and a lifestyle visit will get you a lot more information and the ability to tour many of these styles.

What Village Tinker said.....you would need to visit, I think to get a "feel" for the are. This time of year traffic is dense due to the "snow-birds" and renters. Best area?? To be determined by any who live here. I don't know that there's a "best" area. We live between 466 and 466a---homes with gas are sporadically spaced. We have electric in our home. You can go on-line to see models of homes as well as a map of T.V. You asked about "best roads" to get around.....Buena Vista and Morse are the north to south (and vice-versa) main roads. County-owned! Then the state owned (I think) ones are east to west----would be 44, 466a, 466 and 441/27. I also forgot----301 which has become VERY busy. The villages or neighborhoods are inserted in between. I'm not familiar too much with the newest areas south of 44. Asking subjective questions on social media might give you answers (and the answers will vary depending on who gives them) but again, you need to vist ---maybe twice or three times to get a "feel" for the area.

I built in Pine Hills 2017 and could modify as I wanted, left came back mid 2021 BUT did not want to go below hwy 44 so I bought preowned just make SURE you like the layout sunflower is great.

To me being a villager is driving my cart to a good supply of grocery, restaurants and yes even Walmart in 20-30 min that's why I said forget below hwy 44. I mean otherwise you can go to ANY little golf cart community around here and pay less.

Can you elaborate on what those plans are/were and where they stand today ?
You mention hospitals, how many were being planned and what locations were being considered ?
