Need a music box repaired

Does anyone in The Villages repair music boxes?

I always love a challenge, so exactly what is your 'music box', maybe a picture of it? Also, a brief description of the problem would be greatly appreciated. I do not know of any specific repair people, perhaps one of the clock repair people might be interested. If you do not get any other leads and can give me the above info, I would like to try the repair.

The problem is that the wheel is not contacting the keys as it turns. Everything else is working. I contacted the manufacturer but they are a year behind with their repairs. This was inherited from my wife’s brother and has sentimental value for her.
Any help would be appreciated.

OK, this sounds like a misalignment, maybe a loose screw, in any case I could take a look at it. I will send you a PM and you can reply if interested.
