I guess I was not
Surprised to NOT
see what I believe
was the first band
ever to play Spanish
Springs Square and
still performing
( mostly Sawgrass)

That would be Justin
Heat (fact check)
And one of the
rotating 4 at Katie
Belles. Rocky, Justin,
Cactus and Uncle Bob

OH BARF ......
It was loud, crowded, and chaotic. You couldn't walk in a straight line, even when perusing all the vendor's wares. I checked it out, stayed about an hour and then was glad to get out.

I got there in the morning, and had a great time dancing and browsing, had lunch. Left, returned, knew there was no way I'd find a parking space anywhere nearby so I parked over by the furniture shop past Publix and walked from there. Spent another couple hours mostly dancing, bought a couple of things, and came home.

I love these occasional festivities. Not something I'd do regularly but they're a great break from the usual.

With the bonus that you got to do it under the azure skies adorned with whimsical cottony clouds,

Hmmmmm.

Maybe the author of this article attended a different 30th anniversary celebration at Spanish Springs than my wife and I did. The one I attended did not bear much resemblance to the hyperbole of Mr. Headley

Of course, a 30th anniversary event will be crowded. Still, we enjoyed it.
