that you have gotten on TOTV?

Mine came from the poster who recommended the Ninja Foodi. It was posted a couple of years ago and I haven't cooked a steak on the grill ever since I got it. Whoever suggested it, thank you!

Mine was when my front post lamp was out, VT suggested I look at the GFCI outlet in the garage, see if it was tripped.
It was.

It was. When I was looking for a home, many posters advised buying a preowned. Months later, I am glad I did! No bond, low maintenance, great view, low taxes, commercial in every direction, and golf courses galore.

I have lived in the villages for 23 years and had my heart set on a new home. I kept reading posts pointing out why that was not the best choice. Thanks everyone! I love my home and neighbors. I have never been happier.

I have a feeling that Tinker would unanimously be the most helpful poster at this site. He is a wealth of information and always willing to lend a helping hand.

Frank D’Angelo was highly recommended for one year inspections. Have used that helpful info 4 times.

Best tip ever.

Buy the tool that shuts off the water in the front yard.

Why they didn't put a shut off in the garage is beyond me.

I have the Ninja Speedi. Apart from the coffeemaker, it's the most popular appliance in the kitchen, with near daily use. Nearly any air fryer model's recipe works.

I've barely used my oven in almost 8 months. Not even touched the grill as an air fryer would done cooking before you could get the grill up to temp.

If you haven't tried it yet - fresh salmon steaks atop a sheet of aluminum foil, top with honey butter and bagel everything seasoning. 390 for 9 minutes. Perfecto.

There are many snowbirds and in an emergency if no access to the garage, the water can be shut off?

Sounds good. Which model do you like? I’m thinking of getting one.

There have been many, but the best one for me was when we were new to roundabouts, and a poster described thinking of it as an intersection of two-lane roads.

I keep one of these handy in the garage, right were it would be easily grabbed as I run out to the water meter vault (shutoff) in the front lawn up north.

Served me well Dec 2022 when I had a basement pipe burst. had that shut off in under 20 seconds.

Suggestion: Especially if you have those old school metal or plastic or cement water meter vault covers in your yard, keep a flat-blade screwdriver handy next to or velcro'd onto the water valve shutoff tool so you can access the water meter vault to turn it off.

Remember, turn the bar-shaped valve 1/4 turn to turn off. Just like a natural gas meter, if the bar is "inline" with the pipe, then the valve is open and product can flow. If the valve is turned perpendicular (Across) the pipe, then the valve is closed.

If you need an additional visual, there are two "rings," or "ears" attached to the water meter valve. The purpose is to put a barrel lock through them to lock them out when they are out of service. Just turn the valve until those two "ears" line up and form a single hole. See the image below.

Finally, you know you have the water off completely when the little red indicator (usually a triangle or an arrow) on the dial face has stopped spinning.

Retiredguy123 recommended that I go to Costa Rica for affordable dental work. While funny at some level it was also practical.
