Hi. We are in need of having a gas line run from our gas meter to our pool heater (approximately 10 ft). Does anyone know who I would contact for this service. Thanks in advance for your help.

A Plumber

Not quite, you would need a licensed pipe fitter and also a permit for the work.

Call any of the local plumbing companies (I have used Mike Scott) and ask them if they do this and the approximate cost, as noted above a permit will be required, and I am guessing you are installing a gas fired pool heater, so you will probably need an electrical permit also. Call your local building department to be sure what is required.

Mike Scott Plumbing has a gas division that does exactly what you're looking to have done.

Try Allen Curry plumbing out of Ocala. We ran a line from our propane tank to a gas cooktop and grill, and they were a little more than half the price of Fireplace Installers (company that runs the propane lines for T+D Pools) and Mike Scott Plumbing.
