Hi, we are new here and loving it. Approximately how long does it take to hear back from the Arch Review board? It was suggested that we get approval before painting the garage door. Thanks!

They meet once a week so, depending on when you file your application, it could be a few days to almost two weeks.

It is easy and quick. You can meet with an ARC rep before hand to review your request. That can be very useful to point out any issues you might face and avoid issues before you go before ARC.

Am I the only one who thought this would be a review of McDonalds?

You can call ARC, and ask to see the color pallet for your area (they are different for different CDDs), I believe you need to go to the office for this. If you have a color picked out, take it with you to see if it on the pallet. If it is you should be good to go, but if you are changing the color you will still need approval.

Plus if you are picking from approved color palette, make sure you take a picture that will date of that color choice. Keep with receipt when the house is painted. Color palette changes and some colors are removed, at times, especially for bolder colors.

Friends used an approved pumpkin color (I know what we’re they thinking) accents on approved list, next year it was removed. Troll turned them in but didn’t have to change color because of documentation, of when house was painted and the picture of dated color in ARC office
