Just found a link to their site on the Virginia Trace website (great place for all information TV!) We live in Missouri and go to Branson for shows about twice a year. Just wondered if any of you have been to OBO; and if it is a quality show?

I would not drive from MO to see the OBO. Most shows are very good as you can see on the web site the level of talent they showcase.

Thanks bogie, we are planning on being in TV in March, and may try to catch a show.

We've been there several times and they have a ton of talent there. We especially enjoyed the Christmas shows and open mike nights.

Though my husband is more rock and I am more country we both enjoyed it. A young man played and we learned he is playing and singing in Eustis this Saturday night and we plan on going there to listen to him.

We will go back to the Orange Blossom Opry again sometime.

Went to see The Grascals on Jan 1, after a few months of procrastination. One of the leading bluegrass acts touring today. Their show would calm the heart of the biggest bluegrass fan. The "house band" was good, but not as traditional country as I would have liked. I was able to get tickets for upcoming Ray Price, Lorrie Morgan and Rhonda Vincent, another top bluegrass act. They have a very nice facility with good seating (some better than others), not a bad seat in the house. A fine venue for local and national acts that does it all up right, the way it should be. I put off going for a few months, don't do that - get out and check it out. A welcome change of pace from the squares.

If country and light rock, probably better described as rockabilly, are you thing you'll have a good time.

I'm also a Missourian and have been to Branson many times. The Orange Blossom Opry is a little different than the fare at Branson but just as entertaining. We will be there next month and plan on making it one of our night out adventures. Go, you will enjoy it.
