LOVED that Clavell book, and ALL of his others. Nobel House and Tai Pan especially. Also liked the original mini-series with Richard Chamberlain very much. I miss ALL those wonderful mini-series; Rich Man Poor Man, Winds of War, on and on, wish making of those giant epic novels into mini-series would come back !

The original miniseries was iconic.

Early reviews of this new version are extremely favorable, both from critics and fans. Can't wait to watch it.
